If everyone rode horses in Texas there wouldn't be a problem. Just put on your cowboy boots...tell them you'll meet them at sundown if they don't give you what you need...bang, bang,...now don't you feel better? Marcy
After several decades of raising (rearing) kids and then enjoying the fruit of freedom for several years, we found that we needed something. A mission...a job...so we went to the boss (you know, the big one, yes, God) and asked Him to give us a mission. Well, maybe, we should have been a little more specific. But, this is where He has said go and this is what He has said do, so who are we to question...neither of us have any desire to end up like Jonah...we like our fish well done...June 4 we plan to step into a life like we never envisioned....house parents for 8 girls ranging in age from 6 to 14. Come join us on this journey...be prepared to be a participant. In the coming months, we will be asking much of you...your prayers, your love, your counsel at times and always your support.
Hi! For those who have wondered upon this site accidently, let us clue you in as to who we are. We are in that inbetween age...not ready for the rocker but really tired of the rat race. Or how about a sports analogy...well off the starting block but the finish line still is a ways off.
